Deacon Bill Polakowski

Deacon Bill was ordained into the Diaconate in 2021. His family joined our parish in 1979, and after graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Electrical Engineering and retiring after 24 years in the Air Force, he and his wife Sue Ann settled back in Sierra Vista in 2014. They have three daughters. Deacon Bill is the youth minister at St Andrews.

Deacon Bill directs the Life Teens program for high schoolers and the EDGE program for our middle school youth. The programs include spiritual development, religious education, community service and fun activities. Sunday evenings, we have the Life Teen Mass, followed by the Life Teen meeting, called a Life Night. EDGE meets on Tuesday evenings.
