Meet our Parish Librarian, Katie Gabel, who was born in Seattle, WA. From there, she joined the Army Reserves and between missions to Iraq, Afghanistan, Thailand, and Japan, she worked on Fort Huachuca as a Counterintelligence instructor and in Future Force development. She has called Arizona her home since 2003 and retired from the military in 2017. She lives with her husband Gerry Gabel in Whetstone and looks after their children and “ridiculous amounts of animals”. Katie became a Catholic in 2020. She has served as our head Parish Librarian since 2023.
