A special ‘thank you’ to all of you - who donated White Elephant items, books, handcrafts, baked goods, food, and other items, and bought Raffle Tickets!!!
‘Thank you’ to our super ‘chefs’ who provided the always-amazing luncheon items!
‘Thank you’ to all of our very hard-working Volunteers, who not only work the Bazaar, but who spend months ahead, sorting and pricing and preparing the donated items!
‘Thank you’ to our Parish Library Volunteers, who make the Used Book Sale, such a success!
‘Thank you’ to our Maintenance Staff, Ben Horner, Michael Protska, and our Parish Staff, for all of those working ‘behind the scenes’ cleaning, preparation and ‘ground support’ for the Bazaar!
AND, a special “thank you” to the husbands of the “Ladies” and the Knights of Columbus who give such great volunteer support for the event – and the days leading up to it!
The Annual Parish Bazaar, is one of the most anticipated and enjoyed events in our Parish, as well as the wider-Community. It is truly a community ‘get-together’, bringing lots of folks on to our Parish Campus for good food, fellowship, and fun – and, of course, “bargains”!!
The funds generated by the Annual Bazaar are distributed throughout the year by the “Ladies of St. Andrew’s” to support a large number of local charities, as well helping with our own Parish needs! Without the generosity of the “Ladies of St. Andrew’s” we would be without so many of the amenities in our Kitchen, and other areas of Parish life and mission!
If you would like to be part of the leadership of the “Ladies of St. Andrew’s”, you have only to attend their Monthly meeting and participate in the always-lively discussions! Every woman parishioner is already a “Member-in-Good Standing” and very welcome to share your particular talents and abilities!
We’ll let the “Ladies of St. Andrew’s” catch their breath for a couple of weeks, and then begin preparing for the “St. Nicholas Fair”, held in Kino Hall on Sunday morning December 7th!
They will be putting out the call for Home-baked Goods for the Fair in a couple of weeks!
Our heartfelt thanks to all of our VETERANS, as we celebrate Veterans’ Day on Tuesday! Congratulations and special thanks to our World War II Veteran – 100+ year old George Johnsen (U.S. Navy)!!!
